千葉大学は、Google社の教育機関向けサービスであるGoogle Workspaceを教育に利用しています。
履修登録や証明書発行等のシステム、学生ポータルに掲載された一部のページやコンテンツには、Google Workspaceのアカウントが必要です。

・Chiba University uses Google Workspace, a service for educational institutions of Google Inc., for education.
・Google Workspace account is required to use some systems, such as course registration and certificate issuance, and to access some pages and contents on the Chiba University Student Portal.

千葉大学で利用できる、Google Workspaceのアカウントは、身分（学生、教職員などの別）により種類が異なります。
学生：千葉大学に在籍する学生用（正規生・非正規生）のアカウント
教員：千葉大学に在籍する教員用（非常勤講師含む）のアカウント
職員：千葉大学に在籍する事務職員用（非常勤職員含む）のアカウント
Visitor：千葉大学に在籍する／しない者で一時利用が必要な場合のアカウント
それぞれの種類のアカウントで利用できるGoogleアプリは以下の表を参照してください。

The types of Google Workspace accounts that can be used at Chiba University differ depending on the enrollment status (students, faculty, staff, etc.).
・Student: Account for students (regular and non-degree students) enrolled at Chiba University
・Faculty: Account for faculty members (including part-time lecturers) enrolled at Chiba University
・Staff: Accounts for clerical staff (including part-time staff) enrolled at Chiba University
・Visitor: Temporary account for those enrolled/not enrolled at Chiba University

Third-party apps cannot be added to Chiba University's Google Workspace.
＜千葉大学の学生・非正規生（研究生、特別聴講生など学生証番号を持つ者を含む）＞
入学した学部・大学院の学務係から入学時に配布されます。
内部進学者・転部転科者は、内部進学・転部転科する前に使用していたGoogle Workspaceのアカウントを引き続き利用できます。
メールアドレスのローカルパート（＠の前）は、新年度開始当初に、大学が新学生証番号に書き換えます。パスワードは変更されません。
具体的な書き換え時期等については学部・研究科のガイダンス等で周知されます。
＜千葉大学に在籍する教員・非常勤講師（いずれも職員番号を持つ者）＞
新規採用者等で、Google Workspaceのアカウントが必要な場合は、各学部・大学院の学務係または総務係までご相談ください。
＜千葉大学に在籍する事務職員（職員番号を持つ者）＞
各学部・研究科の学務担当者および学務係以外の部署から学務係に異動になった事務職員については、スマートオフィスよりお知らせしている所定のフォームより発行申請をお願いいたします。
学務担当者以外の事務職員が利用を希望する場合は、スマートオフィスまでご相談ください。
＜アカウント一時利用者＞
申請した期間中のみ使用可能なGoogle Workspaceのアカウントを、本学在籍の教職員の管理のもと、申請した期間中のみ利用可能です。
利用を希望する場合は、管理者となる教職員がスマートオフィスに相談してください。
＜Chiba University students/non-degree students (including research students, special audit students, etc., holding student ID number）＞
・First-year students' accounts will be distributed at the time of admission from the academic affairs section of the faculty/graduate school you are enrolled in.
・Internal students/transfer students can continue their previous Google Workspace accounts they were using before proceeding to internal schools/transfer schools. The local part of your email address (before @) will be rewritten by the university to your new student ID number at the beginning of the new academic year. The password will remain the same. The specific rewriting period will be announced during the guidance of the faculty/graduate school.
＜Faculty members and part-time lecturers enrolled at Chiba University（anyone possessing faculty number）＞
・New employees needing a Google Workspace account should contact each faculty/graduate school's Academic Affairs Section or General Affairs Section of each faculty/graduate school.
＜Clerical staffs enrolled at Chiba University（personnel possessing faculty number）＞
・Administrative staff transferred from a department other than the Academic Affairs Section to the Academic Affairs Section and Academic Affairs staff of each faculty/graduate school should be issuing an account from the prescribed form notified by the Smart Office.
・If the Administrative staff other than academic staff need to use it, contact the Smart Office.
＜Account Temporary User＞
・A Google Workspace account that can be used only during the period of application can be used only during the period of application under the control of faculty members enrolled at the university.
If you need to use it, the faculty member who will be the administrator should consult with the Smart Office.

※初回ログインから2週間以内に必ず2段階認証の設定を行ってください。設定しなかった場合、アカウントはロックされ、ログインできなくなります。

再設定用の電話番号またはメールアドレスを登録している場合は、利用者がパスワードを再発行することが可能です。

上記を設定していない状態でGoogle Workspaceのパスワードを忘れた場合は、以下のリンクのパスワード初期化申請フォームから、初期化を申請してください。
パスワードの再発行作業は平日の業務時間に職員が行うため、作業には数日かかります。

＜When the user reissues the password on his own＞
If the user has registered a phone number or email address for resetting, then he can reissue the password.

＜When requesting for password initialization＞
If you forget your Google Workspace password without performing the setting mentioned above, apply for password initialization using the form linked below.
As the staff performs password reissue tasks during business hours on weekdays, the reissue can take several days.

卒業・修了、退職などにより千葉大学から離籍して90日を経過するとアカウントは停止され、ログイン等一切の利用ができなくなりますので、離籍前に注意することを必ず確認してください。
If 90 days have passed since you left Chiba University due to graduation, completion, retirement, etc., your account will be suspended and you will not be able to sign in at all.
Please be sure to check Precautions before leaving the university.

Faculty members, who have decided to re-enroll within 300 days after leaving the school and wish to continue using the account, should contact the Academic Affairs Section or General Affairs Section of each faculty/graduate school.
結婚等により、氏名が変わった場合は、申し出によりGoogle Workspaceの表示名を変更することができます。詳しい手続きは以下を参照してください。
＜学生＞
氏名変更したい場合は、千葉大学学則に定められた範囲で氏名変更を行うことが可能です。氏名変更を希望する場合は、各学部・研究科の学務係窓口までご相談ください。
※2024年9月末より、学生のユーザー名は漢字仮名表記からアルファベット表記に変更されました。
＜教員＞
旧姓使用等の場合
人事給与システムにおける氏名を変更すると、Google Workspaceのユーザー名も自動的に変更されます。
通称使用の場合
原則として人事給与システムに登録された氏名が、Google Workspaceのユーザー名として登録されます。シラバス等への表記を目的として、ユーザー名の変更を希望する場合は、所定の手続きにより変更することが可能です。各学部・研究科の学務担当者にご相談ください。

＜事務職員＞

If you want to change your name, you can change it within the range stipulated in the Chiba University Academic Regulations. If you wish to change your name, please contact the Academic Affairs Section of each faculty/graduate school.
※Starting from the end of September 2024, student usernames have been changed from Kanji/Kana notation to alphanumeric notation.
＜For faculty members＞
When using a maiden name, etc.
If you change your name in the personnel payroll system, your Google Workspace username will change automatically.
When using a common name
Generally, the name registered in the personnel payroll system will be registered as the user name of Google Workspace. If you wish to change your username for the purpose of notation on the syllabus, etc., you can change it by following the prescribed procedure. Please consult with the academic affairs staff of each faculty/graduate school.

・アカウント情報は、大学のシステム全体に関わる重要な情報です。在籍中は大切に扱ってください。
・パスワードは誰にも教えないでください（システム管理者や教職員・学生同士のほか、家族や親族を含む）。
- システム管理者がパスワードを尋ねることはありません。
- 複数のシステムで同じパスワードを使うのは危険です。
- 推測されやすいパスワード（誕生日や簡単な文字列）は避けてください。
・必要に応じて、信頼できるアカウント管理ツールのパスワード生成機能を活用し、推測されにくいパスワードを設定してください。
・ID・パスワードを入力する際は、大学が教育・学修、研究、業務等での利用を認めているシステムであることを必ず確認してください。
・千葉大学のアカウントは大学が認めるシステム以外のシステムでは利用しないでください。
Account information is critical to the integrity of the university’s systems. Handle it with care throughout your enrollment or employment.
• Do not disclose your password to anyone (including system administrators, faculty or staffmembers, other students, family members, or relatives).
✓ System administrators will never ask for your password.
✓ Using the same password for multiple systems is dangerous.
✓ Avoid easily guessable passwords (such as birthdays or simple character sequences).
• When necessary, use the password generation feature in a reliable password management tool to create strong, hard-to-guess passwords.
• When entering your ID or password, always confirm that the system is one officially approved by the university for education, learning, research, or administrative use.
• Do not use your Chiba University account on any Chiba University non-approving external systems.

・他人のアカウント情報を不正に取得・利用する行為は違法であり、懲戒処分の対象となるおそれがあります。
・アカウント停止により授業履修や業務遂行が困難になるなど、重大な影響があります。

• Account suspension may have serious consequences, such as preventing you from enrolling in courses or carrying out your duties.

・性善説ではなく性悪説を前提に、常に慎重に行動してください。

• Always act with caution, assuming a “zero-trust” perspective rather than relying on goodwill.
