・First-year students' accounts will be distributed at the time of admission from the academic affairs section of the faculty/graduate school you are enrolled in.
・Internal students/transfer students can continue their previous Google Workspace accounts they were using before proceeding to internal schools/transfer schools. The local part of your email address (before @) will be rewritten by the university to your new student ID number at the beginning of the new academic year. The password will remain the same. The specific rewriting period will be announced during the guidance of the faculty/graduate school.
<Faculty members and part-time lecturers enrolled at Chiba University(anyone possessing faculty number)>
・New employees needing a Google Workspace account should contact each faculty/graduate school's Academic Affairs Section or General Affairs Section of each faculty/graduate school.
The purpose of the use is limited to education.
<Clerical staffs enrolled at Chiba University(personnel possessing faculty number)>
・Administrative staff transferred from a department other than the Academic Affairs Section to the Academic Affairs Section and Academic Affairs staff of each faculty/graduate school should be issuing an account from the prescribed form notified by the Smart Office.
・Administrative staff other than academic staff can issue an account only for educational purposes. Contact the Smart Office.
<Account Temporary User>
・A Google Workspace account that can be used only during the period of application can be used only during the period of application under the control of faculty members enrolled at the university.
The purpose of the use is limited to education.
If you need to use it, the faculty member who will be the administrator should consult with the Smart Office.
